Who is Winchell?
I’m someone who genuinely loves helping people, whether that means connecting ideas, offering a new perspective, or just making someone laugh when they need it most. Laughter has always been one of my favorite ways to make people feel good, but I’m just as at home in deeper conversations, the kind that sit with you long after they’re over. I think a lot; sometimes about the serious stuff that shapes us, sometimes about the wonderfully ridiculous things that make life less heavy. One minute I might be talking about how to meet someone exactly where they are, and the next I’m analyzing the social hierarchy of stray cats and debating the politics of the two rival cat gangs in my town. Both kinds of conversations matter to me, because both are part of being human. I’m curious, reflective, occasionally weird, and always looking for ways to turn the things I notice into something meaningful.
What's Driving This
WinchellCreative is a place I carved out to breathe a little, think a little deeper, and occasionally laugh at life’s nonsense. It’s where I collect the things I create and the things I’m still figuring out—my books, my blog, the listicles no one asked for about absurd situations and the all-too-real ones we all stumble through. It’s a space for the ideas that help, entertain, or just need somewhere to land. You’ll also find product recommendations and odd little discoveries that might be exactly what someone has been searching for—or didn’t realize they needed until now. At the end of the day, if something here makes someone feel seen, inspired, or even just amused, then this space is doing exactly what it’s meant to do.
